The Woodlarks Centre’s Christmas Fete

16th November The Woodlarks Centre’s Christmas Fete was again memorable – lots to see and do . . . and eat! And a tremendous £765.45 raised! We had a variety of craft stalls for everyone to enjoy, with festive refreshments, including cakes, homemade Christmas cards, art and crafts. There was also a tombola and a raffle. The event was attended by the Mayor of Farnham, Councilor Pat Evans who was delighted by the work we do at the centre.

Julie West, activities coordinator for Woodlarks, said: “We all had such a lovely afternoon and are delighted to have raised an amazing amount, the effort that went into all the stalls was excellent and we are thankful to everyone who came along to support our Christmas event.” All our residents thoroughly enjoyed the fete.

Many of those currently at The Woodlarks Centre rely on Benefits, therefore funds such as these enable them to enjoy extra activities such as trips to theatres, cinema and activities outside not normally within their budget. Your continued support of our events is greatly appreciated.
